To the committee.
I do not think that the committee as demonstrated the urgency nor the obligation to develop the South-West Sector into a mix of Scenario A or B, and C is not the best but, has less impact on the environment of that sector.
If I may add, Chateauguay should have spent the money on a study to make what we have better, to make of our town a model of good living and do the right thing with our natural resources, bring forward new and innovative ways to control traffic, Anjou and St-Jean-Baptiste should be like Principal, I live on Elm, it is a short cut for the people that come from Lery and other towns, stop signs and people are often ignored, people must wait on the corner for all the cars to pass by before crossing, the stop sign is there but they do not stop, late for work or whatever, morning and evening, sometime Elm is a race course.
Make more bike paths, draw people for good reasons, cultural, nature, safe streets, develop and educate people to be proud and respectful of their town, use the police to explain to people, not give a fine, that passing on a yellow light is not right and it is dangerous, just stopping them could make them realize the time they tried to save is lost and it is wrong.
I am saying make what we have better before developing, then when we develop we can expect a better return on the effort put into the process of expanding, to bring in more people into our town will only make living her less attractive.
Regards.
